Who I Am
My name is Andrew McAdam-Wong, born and raised in the city of Toronto. I'm a very energetic and outgoing individual who loves to bring my passion for life everywhere I go. My shooting style is fun and focused, yet relaxed and unobtrusive. I love creating images that make the viewer feel as if they are stepping into a dream. I have no entourage behavior, just an extremely keen eye and genuine enthusiasm for creating amazing images and capturing moments that last forever.
The Wedding Day
Beyond simply taking a nice picture, I take a step back to observe and capture all of the emotion and unique details of your wedding day. With so much beauty and art found in reality, my eyes and camera capture the genuine moments of your special day, so that years later when you’re paging through your photos, you remember how the little squeeze of your husband’s hand felt while you were standing together exchanging your vows. Weddings are my passion. The keywords that fit my style and approach to photographing your special wedding day are: simple, elegant with a creative edge. Private Collection (Boudoir)
Boudoir is French for a private room or bedroom, or in photography terms, a bedroom, hotel or somewhere that creates an intimate setting for classy, seductive and romantic images. My job is to capture you in the most flattering poses that fit your body type. Your boudoir images will be tasteful and gorgeous. I believe that you are beautiful just how you are right now, and it’s my job to capture that beauty. The best part of my job is getting to know people and cherishing what makes them unique. I love the uniqueness of every client. My job is to capture each individual's own intimate beauty. For me the shoot is about more than just providing high-quality images, it is about giving each person I photograph, a priceless look at how beautiful they are by providing gorgeous images that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Fashion
I have a passion for fashion. There's a lot of preparation work involved. I'm always looking for great locations for photoshoots, and the right props. I work to ensure that the lighting is just right and that all of the elements are well prepared ahead of time. I work closely with the models and fashion designers to conceptualize and create images that showcase fashion effectively. I not only photograph garments, I interpret the underlying ideas or themes of the season, the clothing range, the designer, and the brand. I work in studio and on location to produce imaginative and eye-catching images that advertise clothing, accessories and lifestyle.
Creative Portraits
There are no boundaries or rules when it comes to Creative Portrait Photography. This genre of photography allows me to enter your world and understand everything about who you are. I don't only take a photograph of what is on the outside, I capture your personality and showcase it through the art of portraiture.
